The history of the Samuel Pulham family

Samuel married Sarah by licence at Horham Parish Church on 1 October 1724. According to the parish register, Samuel was from Wilby and Sarah was from Stradbrooke. Horham is two miles southwest of Stradbrooke and two mile west of Wilby.

Charles Pulham and Sarah Woollrough's marriage entry

Seven of Samuel and Sarah's children were christened at Horham Parish Church. Their second son Charles was christened at Horham on 15 June 1728. At that time his parents were living at Thorp Hall. The nearest Thorpe Hall to Horham is six miles away just outside Scole in Norfolk.
